COVID-19 Update

Hi CJC Members,

I wanted to give you an update as to where we are as a charity sports judo club, with the latest government legislation on COVID-19.

I’m pleased to say that we are already doing everything we need to do to support the track and trace system and we are really proud of what we have achieved in terms of keeping everyone safe.

Thank you so much for your support and for continuing to roll with the changes. The whole process has been made much easier; knowing that the CJC community is behind us, so thank you!

From Thursday 24th September, the new NHS COVID-19 app will be available to download throughout the country. The app has been designed to potentially save lives through track and trace and to support those businesses who may not have the infrastructure to keep data on their clients/customers.

From Thursday 24th September, you’ll see the QR code posters at our club entrance. As we already ask you to complete the online athlete indemnity form each time you train. We already comply with the legislation and British Judo, using the NHS COVID-19 app is not something that we will ask you to do, but it is there should you wish to make use of it.

In case you’re unsure about it, you can read here how the NHS app will use your data. You’ll be able to scan the code before entering the club.

The app will be used by many industries and we would encourage you to download the app so that your check ins are all stored in one place, enabling track and trace.

The app can be downloaded using the following links and you can read more about the app here

If you have any questions please let us know but we hope the FAQ from the NHS provides enough detail about the app and how to use it – thanks for keeping our community safe!
