Midland Area Age Band Competition
This competition maintained its high standard and the Camberley Juniors performed well fighting against some of the top players in the country. Tom Kirk and Oliver Baldwin produced the best results of the weekend both earning respectable 5th places, all of the juniors did themselves and the club proud, fighting hard with good Judo. I’m sure by the end of the year there we will see more players not only placing but also medalling.

North West Age Band
A long journey up north provided us once again with another tough tournament, with improved performances from all CJC Juniors. Francesca Paine achieved the best result from our junior section achieving 5th place in her new weight category U63kg. We also had 2 of the Elite team competing in this tournament, Reece Howard and George Cullum. Well done to George who won the gold medal in the u73kg Junior section. Remember Juniors – results do not always reflect performance!

Training Weekend
Well done to everyone who attended the advanced junior training weekend, it was an intense but enjoyable couple of days and we covered a lot of different things! I would like to thank everyone who travelled from other Judo clubs to attend the sessions, hopefully see you all at the next one! (15th & 16th March)
