Results from the Osterley Open

Camberley Judo Club travelled to the Osterley Open on Saturday (Oct 27th) with a strong team of 15 fighters. There were players from all over The South of England in an attendance with an impressive entry of over 150 in total for a very well ran tournament. An under 8’s section was also included which gave 5 of our younger Judoka the rarer chance to compete outside of our in-club competitions.
I’m very happy to say everyone gave it their all and got stuck into the competition.
The main aim is that everyone enjoys the experience of competing and begin to learn how to fight without the feeling of pressure, hence allowing them to perform freely and at their very best. That said to have 15 players in the event and to come away with 15 medals, 8 of which were gold, is a good indication that everyone’s hard work is paying off. We are proud of you all.
Good work all, now back to training and on to the next one.
