Success at the North West Open started in the -66kg with Andrew Panayi, he won 5 fights beating Australian club mate Nathan Katz in the final, leaving Nathan with the silver. Dru Oakes our third Camberley fighter won 4 fights, only losing to Panayi in the pool, so was unlucky to come away with the bronze medal.
In -73kg the Camberley lads again dominated with Jake Bensted winning 5 fights by maximum score to meet club mate Aaron Turner in the final. It was a close match but Jake secured the win with a 7 point score. Gold for Bensted and silver for Turner. To finish the day Emma Chamberlain in -57kg came away with the bronze medal. Well done to all the Camberley fighters.
