A small team of CJC fighters stepped up for the German European cup and travelled to Sindelfingen. A successful journey for Frazer Chamberlain -90kg, who came away with his second ever European cup medal. Chamberlain overcame opponents from Poland, Netherlands and Kazakhstan to book his place in the final against Iddir of France, current European bronze medallist. Frazer gave a good account of himself in the final but was overcome by the more experienced fighter this time.
Also competing was Aaron Turner, James Martin and Dru Oakes all in -66kg and Lee Shinkin at -81kg. They all fought well in this tough level event with James and Aaron notching up a win each before bowing out.
