Camberley Rotary Club kindly presented a cheque for £250 to accompany the Camberley Judo Club Junior Player of the Year award which went to Lasha Lekishvili.
The existence of Camberley Judo Club was brought to the Rotary Club’s attention by the Chief Executive of Surrey Heath Borough Council, Karen Whelan. They decided that it was a worthwhile cause to support and decided to target the donation to the up and coming section of the Elite Team.
Camberley Rotary Club, was founded in 1945, it is open for membership to men and women in business, management or professional positions and who live or work within the borough or its immediate surroundings.
