Great Weekend’s of judo from CJC. The juniors out in The Hague-Summer Shaws own words from the weekend! The Hague U15 and U17 with Camberley JC this weekend. A bit of controversy led to a dq from the first day (U15). But I focused to win a bronze in the U17s on Sunday , beating a 16 year old black belt on the way, got home at 4am due to issues at the tunnel Well Done Summer . Jordan Mazzoni-Dalton, won bronze at the London area colleges and universities senior open at the University of East London. Jordan also competed at the samurai Kyu grade open in Wolverhampton and won gold in the U81kg and Bronze in the open weight categories! Two competitions for him. Well done! Lovely judo from Frazer Chamberlain at the UZB Grand Prix saw him pick up the win after forcing Grossklaus to submit via an arm lock RESULT | Huge roar from the Brit as he throws Meyliev for ippon to progress through to the Quarter Finals! Frazer facing Christian Toth HUN next! He lost to the Hungarian by ippon. Bozbayev Kaz was the next, current World No.15 but hasn’t finished on the podium since winning Gold at the Tunis Grand Prix in January. Frazer Chamberlain beats the Kazakhstan fighter and will fight for Bronze against the Russian! Not to be for Frazer today, losing on penalties for Bronze! Unlucky not to finish off a Ko Soto, launching the Russian. 5th place moving next onto The Hague GP. Raising his world ranking to 18. Tom Davis double gold at the Commonwealth Tournament in India with James Seccombe winning a silver also.

Exciting weekend of judo from the cjc warriors.
