Sophie Johnstone of Camberley Judo Club has been selected to represent Great Britain at under 52kgs at the 2009 European Judo Championships.
The championships will be held in Tbilisi, Georgia from 24th-26th April. Sophie’s selection comes off the back of her successful defense of her British title in December. In the last six months she has also won gold in the Finland Open and a silver medal in the GB World Cup. Another Camberley fighter, Sam Lowe, will find out if she is also selected later this month following a fight off at the English Open.
