Advanced Junior Residential Winter Camp!

Dear all,

After the success of our 2013 Summer camp I have decided to run an Advanced Junior Residential Winter Camp! The camp will be over 3 days starting Thursday 2^nd January at 10am and finishing Saturday 4^th January 2014 at 1:30pm. Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner and healthy snacks will be provided throughout the camp for all who choose the residential option. A non-residential option is also available.

Sleeping arrangements – This camp is suitable for boys and girls, I will be staying overnight to supervise and ensure boys sleep one side of the dojo and girls the other. If you choose the non residential option, the camp will finish at 4pm every day except Saturday where it finishes at 1:30pm.

There will be an open randori class in the evening of Thursday 2^nd January 2014 and Friday 3^rd January 2014, this will be advertised to Club’s in the area to attend even if not attending the camp. If you wish to only attend the evening sessions it will be £6 a session or £10 for both.

Thursday Randori         7pm – 8:30pm

Friday Randori               8pm – 9:15pm

This camp will obviously contain Judo, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and the usual ‘fun’ activities but we will also continue to work on the Olympic lifting techniques from last camp. These sessions will focus on the technique using broom sticks and no weight. This will benefit posture, co-ordination and prepare them for safe weight training in the future.

Your children will need to bring:

• Judo Gi’s
• Training clothes
• Running trainers
• Clothes suitable to get wet
• Water bottle
• Lunch (non residential)
• Sleeping bag, pillow & Suitable warm sleeping wear! (residential)
• Towel & Toiletries

Residential cost includes –

3 day camp + 2 overnight stays, 2 evening sessions (Thursday & Friday) food throughout the week and off site activities.

Non residential cost includes –

3 day Camp, 2 evening sessions (Thursday & Friday) + evening meal and off site activities. (Must bring their own Lunch.)

Per day cost includes –

1 Day camp, 1 Evening session (Thursday & Friday) and off site activities, it will be an additional £4 if you wish your child to have an evening meal. (Must bring their own Lunch.)
