Camberley Judo Club’s Sophie Johnstone (U52kg) has won a bronze medal at the GB World Cup held in Birmingham this weekend. Sophie was on great form all day. UK School Games and Heart Of England Medal Haul

Two players from the full time training group at Camberley Judo Club won medals at the UK School Games last weekend. Sam Hughes won the silver medal at under 55kg and Tom Williams (Ford) took the gold medal at under 81kg. Karina Wins World Silver in Rotterdam!

Camberley´s Karina Bryant stormed back onto the world judo scene yesterday winning a silver medal at the World Judo Championships Rotterdam. The over 78kg fighter won GBR´s only medal of the championships on the final day of competition. Bryant received a bye into the second round and then faced Olympic bronze medallist Lucija Polavder of Slovenia.
